PLLA (Poly-L-lactic acid)
PLLA (Poly-L-lactic acid) is a biocompatible, biodegradable polymer widely used in medical aesthetics because it stimulates collagen production as it gradually dissolves in the body. When used for threads, PLA provides both immediate mechanical lifting and long-term skin rejuvenation by promoting neocollagenesis, making it an excellent material for thread lifting as it combines safety, durability, and natural-looking results.
PLA has a stronger collagenstimulation effect due to its unique particle-induced fibroblast activation.
