

Botulinum Polypeptide-1 is derived from BTX-A, stabilized by a novel technique to maintain its efficacy in post sterilization. Under the skin, while implanted suture physically supports the wrinkled area, the material inhibits the release of acetylcholine, temporarily blocks the nerve signals (chemical denervation) responsible for muscle contractions.

In the case of applying Botulinum toxin A, only a slight amount of spreading into unintended muscle group accidentally caused by excessive pressure may lead to serious side effects such as partial facial paralysis, whereas implanted solid-state T-Tox affects on a controlled and limited target area that allows more dramatic but safe approach.

The focus of T-Tox is giving efficacy of Botulinum therapy by simple suture implantation.
